Enough about the pre-wedding unique wedding stuff! Now let’s get down to the when the ceremonies began. The duo indeed had a royal wedding planned, so why not choose the venue that is only suited for the royals. Priyanka and Nick chose – Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace for their wedding – Indian wedding one of course. Yes they had two of them, obviously! The palace is partly owned by Taj Hotels, and continues to remain the current actual residence of the former royal family, descendants of Maharaja Umaid Singh. One of the most exotic facts about the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace is that it was the last architectural marvel of its kind built in India. It is the sixth largest private residence in the world and also includes a museum. Although many Bollywood stars had wished to get married at this venue, including Rani Mukherjee and Aishwarya Rai, but it never actually came about to happen. Although there is one exception, Hollywood actress Liz Hurley, married an Indian entrepreneur at the same venue in 2007.
