For starters we absolutely fail to realize why this drama even has as much popularity as it does. This was just the depiction of every tragedy that can happen to a daughter-in-law in a desi household. Although the directors began with a star studded cast, that appears to be the only thing that might have brought viewers to this drama series. Nadia is married off to her cousin and then everyone in her in-laws house seems to have an agenda to abuse and hurt her. The extremely misfit and forced positive ending did nothing to improve the situation for the drama story as it was as unbelievable as the rest of the story. Now that is not to say that daughter-in-laws are at a disadvantage in Pakistan in a notable number, but to make an overly desensitized drama with an out of the blue happy ending is definitely not the way to highlight this issue, even if that was the purpose.
