This is not your run of the mill story where a sports enthusiast struggles to get his chance for national tryouts and becomes the winning national team captain by the end. This is about a sports agent. And his fall from grace! It talks about the commercial side of sports. And since you already got the reference from the size of a pitch, 22 Yards is about subcontinent’s favorite game – Cricket! The movie had already had its world premiere at Bay Area South Asian Film Festival and the lead actor Barun Sobti also won the Best Actor (Feature) award.
